Beta’s Surprise Mate by Bryant

Beta’s Surprise Mate by Bryant

We encountered John for the first time in Alpha Logan when Logan calls him to give some instructions. He appears several times after which made me quite curious about this very formal Beta. Beta’s Surprise Mate by Bryant now focuses on him as he finds his mate in the most unlikely of situations. When running an errand for Logan and Aurelia, John inadvertently finds his mate when he visits the florist who will be handling all the floral decorations for their wedding.

First of all, she is human … which is unusual enough as it is.  Werewolf-human matings are uncommon but possible. Second, she is a (former) hunter, which makes her a danger to the pack, whether or not she’s retired. Third, she has a fierce guardian cat, an Egyptian Mau called Shu. But John believes in the mate bond and trusts the Moon Goddess but even he had to take a step back and wonder why he was given a human mate. Despite his desire to stay away, his wolf would not let him do so.

Things to note … John is over 30 and a virgin by choice. Unlike many of his peers, he chose to save himself for his mate. Despite this, though, he certainly had the skills to please his mate. Sarael quit being a hunter a long time ago when she realized that her sister was doing things that she just couldn’t stomach.

Beta’s Surprise Mate by Bryant is HOT! Don’t be deceived by John’s inexperience … he has the equipment and knows how to use it. I even found myself jealous of Sarael and wished he was my mate instead, hyuk! Their lives get complicated by rogues and hunters who suddenly show up in their lives, especially when one of the hunters is Sarael’s evil sister.

I don’t want to reveal too much but trust me when I say you will WANT to read this book. You can find Beta’s Surprise Mate with the bonus Valentine chapters at the end on Goodnovel. If you want to read the paperback, you can find it on Amazon. I’m hoping it comes out on Amazon Kindle as well.

His Pet by Bryant

His Pet by Bryant

His Pet by Bryant reminds me of the early years of the X-Men when humans had difficulty accepting meta-humans, especially when the meta-humans have physical attributes that make it obvious they aren’t normal. Such is the case with Adder, a female with the physical attributes of a snake, hence her name. I suppose this makes Mason akin to Professor X since he appears fully human but actually has strong meta abilities.

When they first met Adder was a minor while Mason was a freshman at University. She attempted to pick his pocket thinking him an easy mark but, of course, got caught. And that is where their unusual friendship began.

His Pet by Bryant is a romance but it is a slow burn. For one thing, we had to wait for Adder to be old enough to even get romantically involved with anyone.

After reading so many books where it seems that the main characters fall into each other’s arms within the first 3 chapters, it is a refreshing change to have characters grow and mature together and not instantly fall in love. We know it will go there, but we don’t know how long it will take and where the journey will take them.

Fyi, it reads like a movie or a tv series, and probably 98% of the book is PG-13. I truly enjoyed this story and I would highly recommend it. Within the pages of this book, you will find action, drama, romance, and attempts to address social issues. If this is up your alley, His Pet by Bryant is available on Goodnovel and on Amazon.

Man’s Best Wingman by Bryant

Man’s Best Wingman by Bryant

Our man Clay Nikolaidis is a ladies’ man. At least he was until his sister, Reece, gave him a corgi named Zeus in Man’s Best Wingman by Bryant. In case the names sound familiar, that is because we first encountered Clay and Reece (by name) in Princes of Ravenwood. Clay is part Greek, part Russian, part English, part American, and all man!

Big guy, small dog, you’d think it is a foolproof plan to get the ladies, except that Zeus is very picky about who he will allow Clay to mate with … which is no one he has met until he meets Xenia and her dog Tinkerbell.

Xenia is a spicy Latina from Puerto Rico who trains dogs for a living. That is how she ended up with Tinkerbell, a big fluffy dog with anxiety issues. Xenia is her emotional support human.

This story is a laugh-fest from start to finish! A modern-day comedy of errors, if you will. It felt like Murphy’s Law was working overtime to mess up Clay and Xenia’s fun times. As I am reading I can see all of it happening in my head and I couldn’t help but laugh each time. Thankfully, things get better as the chapters progress.

If you are looking for something light to read that will make you laugh, then Man’s Best Wingman by Bryant is right up your alley.  You can find it on Goodnovel. It is only 44 chapters so can be read in a day easily.

Alpha Logan by Bryant

Alpha Logan by Bryant

Alpha Logan by Bryant is the first book of the Bloodmoon Pack series. Logan Kinsley is not the firstborn. In any other pack but Bloodmoon, he would not be the Alpha. At the Bloodmoon Pack, the Alpha is selected by whichever of the Alpha heirs manifests the Bloodmoon wolf. This means that despite his elder brother, John, receiving all the training, Logan ended up the Alpha.

For many years he searched far and wide for his mate, traveling to gatherings all over the country and overseas. Little did he know that he didn’t need to travel far for his mate, he just needed patience as she just wasn’t old enough yet.

I could understand Logan’s frustration and longing, especially since wolves believe in “forever” … Bloodmoon, specifically, revere the mate bond so much that they have a law against rejection unless the mate is abusive.

Logan and Aurelia’s first encounter was magical. When Jericho, Logan’s wolf, noticed Aurelia as she got off the bus I got the shivers and I eagerly turned the pages to see how quickly they will meet and how soon they will both acknowledge the mate bond. Every touch spark the bond and their first “sexual” encounter was so hot, I thought my iPad would burst into flames, lol! I put quotes because I’ve seen that many authors only count penetration as sex, so if it is cunnilingus or fellatio it’s … foreplay?

In any case, the main reason I love this story is that Aurelia is such a strong character. Despite only being 17 at the beginning of the story, I could already see what a badass Luna she was going to be and a perfect foil for Logan.

Alpha Logan by Bryant is definitely on my top shelf of book recommendations! You can read this at Goodnovel or grab your copy on Amazon available in Kindle format and paperback.

Alpha of Nightmares by Bryant

Alpha of Nightmares by Bryant

The first time I encountered Alpha of Nightmares by Bryant on Goodnovel I was iffy if I should read it or not. My first thought was “What kind of alpha is he if cannot control his wolf?” Was his wolf, Chesed, that strong, or was Alec that weak? Was Alec/Chesed even worth meeting?

You see, in every new book I open, the lead male character is my book boyfriend so I wasn’t sure if he had what it took to be my boyfriend. Thank goodness, I gave him a shot! The call of the mate bond was just too strong, lol!

But, seriously, my curiosity was piqued. I just had to know the story. I HAD to know the circumstances that led to Alpha Chesed instead of Alpha Alec and his wolf Chesed. In addition, I also found it intriguing how Alec and Chesed had such different personalities. They are polar opposites but come together when it has anything to do with the pack and their children.

His story and how his relationship with Crista grew was just wonderful to witness. But for me, the icing on the cake was Alpha Heir Andre and his incorrigible personality. I’m looking forward to seeing Alpha of Nightmares by Bryant on Amazon soon, but for now, you can read this on Goodnovel.
