This 2019, dare to be different by experimenting with new makeup routines and looks for an upgraded version of you. Let EB Advance, the premier line of Ever Bilena Cosmetics, help you with these simple makeup tips:
Highlight over foundation for skin that glows from within.

The usual step that most follow is to apply primer then foundation. But if you want to achieve natural-looking glowy skin, switch up your makeup routine a bit and brush on EB Advance Glow Out Highlighter (P299) on the high points of your cheeks, bridge of your nose, temples, Cupid’s bow, and chin right after priming.
Dab on your favorite foundation then proceed with the rest of your routine. You can opt to intensify your highlighter by adding another layer after finishing your makeup. You can also use highlighter on your body such as your collarbones, shoulders, and legs for that sun-kissed glow.
Smudge eyeliner for an effortlessly cool smoky eye.
Want to have a subtle glam look but lack the time and skill to do it? A smudged eyeliner will do the trick. It’s easy – simply apply a thick line of EB Advance Eye Define Waterproof Matic Liner (P175) above your upper lash line and use a brush to smudge out your eyeliner.

For your lashes, use EB Advance Lash Define Waterproof Mascara (P205) for an edgy, smoky eye look.
Experiment with colors.
For 2019, it’s all about playing with eyeshadow colors that you don’t normally go for. If you’re the “no makeup, makeup” type, maybe you can try adding a pop of color like the blood red matte or the shade in EB Advance Uncover 2 palette (P395). If you’re the adventurous type who prefers loud colors, this time around maybe you can try the muted, neutral ones.

Leveling up your makeup game for the coming year does not necessarily mean completely altering your usual makeup looks. Making subtle changes or switching up your usual routine automatically upgrades your whole makeup game. These clever products from EB Advance will help you do just that.

Fresh

- Start by applying the Blur Stick all over the face to keep it smooth and oil-free. This will also ensure that your makeup stays in place the whole day.
- Hide blemishes and highlight your facial features with the Brighten Stick.
- Then, with the Contour Stick, draw a line along your temples, the hollows of your cheeks, jawline and sides of the nose. Tap area of contour color with your fingers.
- Add a pop of color on the cheeks, lips and even eyes with the Rose and Peach Sticks.
- Complete the look with a healthy glow using the Strobe Stick, applying on the high points of your cheeks, the inner corners of the eyes, eyebrow bone, and bridge of your nose, Cupid’s bow, and chin.
Monochromatic

Careline Multi Sticks in Rose and Peach
The monochromatic look involves keeping your eyes, lips, and cheek within the same makeup shades. Perfect for any occasion, this makeup trend is not only easy to wear but also easy to apply.
The trick is to choose a color that complements your skin tone like Careline Multi Sticks in Rose and Peach.
You can apply it all over your lids, even dab some on your cheeks and use it on your lips. Voila! You’re good to go.
Bold brows and lips
Bold brows and lips will never go out of style. To achieve this look, be sure your eyebrows are well-groomed so it’s easy to fill them in with your preferred eyebrow product.
With the brow comb, brush your eyebrow hairs upward then fill in sparse spots with Careline’s Best Brow Liner (P160) in Taupe or Brunette.

Complement your look with bold lips using your preferred shades from Careline’s Metallic Lipstick (P210) or Matte Liquid Lipstick (P210).

Careline Melted Metallic Lipstick and Careline Matte Liquid Lipstick
Smoky eyes, soft lips
Smokey eyes are perfect during special celebrations or a night out with your friends. It’s easily doable by filling in your whole lids with Careline Color Pencil (P65), which has a creamy texture that can be used as an eyebrow and eyeliner pencil. After application, blend it with a flat eye shadow brush. Of course, smoky eyes aren’t complete without a swipe of Go Big! Mascara (P185) on your lashes and dramatic winged-eyes using Careline’s Liquid Eyeliner (P105). Balance it out with any nude shade of lipstick using Careline Kiss Sticks (P180).
Try these easy to-do makeup looks and you’re sure to look party-ready for the coming holidays.

In the early 1990s, Andrew Gotianun Sr. saw there could be more to a grazing ground for livestock in Alabang. His company, Filinvest, won the bid over the 244-hectare Alabang stock farm and transformed it into his vision of a complete environment conducive to meeting the demands of global businesses and enriching the lives of those working and residing in the city. With that vision, the Filinvest City masterplan — one that is sustainable, future-ready and responsive to the needs of an ever-changing metropolis — was drawn up.
Today, the 244-hectare Filinvest City embodies the ideals Andrew Gotianun Sr. set years ago. Filinvest City is very much of the present and even as it looks forward to tomorrow, introducing key enhancements to its masterplan: green system, districting and improvements to “mega-blocks” resulting in a well-balanced live-work-play environment.
Filinvest City is currently registered to the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification — a first for the Philippines — under the Neighborhood Development plan, further proof of its commitment to build a truly progressive and sustainable CBD.
The first phase of the Filinvest City master plan enhancement is defining Filinvest City’s public domain and green spaces which includes the introduction of a green system consisting of more open spaces, parks, greenways and pocket resting areas — active and passive facilities for a more meaningfully built environment.
These include the Spectrum Linear Park, a recently-completed three-section linear park spanning almost a kilometer that dissects the city from north to south. It is a beautifully landscaped green spine along Spectrum Midway with tree-lined paths, lighted seating areas and stimulating outdoor art installations.
Also, part of Phase 1 is the development of a creek side park, stretching further down from the Spectrum Linear Park to a creek, which features meandering paths with seating areas, a bridgeway, bike lanes and a viewing deck. When completed, this will be connected to the al fresco retail strip—the River Park at Festival Alabang.
Included in the pipeline of Phase 1 is the Central Park where a botanical garden, bike racks, a dome structure for events and an expansive lawn will be built. This is envisioned to be one of the major public event spaces within Filinvest City where people can either enjoy a picnic on the sprawling lawn or come together to celebrate an outdoor concert.
Filinvest City has also earmarked its mega-blocks — parcels of land that Filinvest is retaining that will add as the value enhancers in the city. Part of the masterplan is the maximization of Festival Alabang as the City Center with its major phase by phase expansion and the construction of a chapel near the River Park, the construction of a Convention Center which will be connected to the transport hub, and the Filinvest Axis Towers which will define the Filinvest City’s skyline.
Filinvest City’s design divides into districts, all bearing the four pillars of the City but each with its own distinct character:
- Northgate District which houses Northgate Cyberzone, the IT-BPO (information technology-business processing outsourcing) hub;
- the Civic Plaza that houses a variety of public services and institutional facilities like fire station and healthcare establishments;
- Westgate, the upscale retail and lifestyle center; the Woods, the more green campus-like and relaxed setting;
- the Palms District, the highest point and site of exclusive developments like Botanika Nature Residences;
- South Station, the transport hub;
- the City Center, where the Festival Alabang, the biggest regional mall, is located; and
- the Spectrum district as the economic core of Filinvest City and is home to prestigious businesses, as well as high net worth families and individuals.
These areas are steadily being transformed into self-contained live-work-play districts.
Filinvest City takes a more prudent approach to city enhancements, proceeding at a steady and calculated pace. These developments bolster Filinvest City’s position as a world-class CBD, ultimately ensuring that land values in the area continue to rise and creating a community responsive to the needs of locators and the people living there today and tomorrow.
