When I first saw The Alpha’s Guardian by Miri Googag it was on the list of recommended books for bonus coins and I stopped because I was intrigued. Even though the Alpha is supposed to be the strongest wolf, I’m sure he still has guards but a guardian implies one or two people whose specific job is to guard him and only that … sort of like a personal bodyguard.
Which begs the question … why would any Alpha need such protection? This was the same thought that entered Alpha Wade’s head, apparently.
In comes our guardian, Ali (short for Aliauna) who encounters our Alpha when he is attacked by rogues. Ali is the best of the best amongst all the guardians, despite being an Omega, and therefore, wolfless. Alpha Wade is her last assignment before she will be able to find her fated mate.

Lucy Lawless as Xena, Warrior Princess
Ali’s description reminds me of Xena, Warrior Princess, but not as tall and imposing as Lucy Lawless. I confess, when it comes to warrior women, Xena is who I measure every single one to.
Ali is strong, commanding, and takes crap from no one, not even the Alpha she is sent to protect. Why she is sent to protect him is a mystery even to her but she does her job anyway.
Both Ali and Wade have very strong personalities and both have had to overcome so many trials in life to get to where they are now. As the story progresses we see Alpha Wade’s resistance to being guarded and Ali’s determination to do so. In the meantime, both of them are fighting their natural attraction to each other.
On the road to discovering answers to their questions plus protecting his pack, several key players come into play that wreak havoc with their emotions and their developing relationship.
The story gets better and better the further you get into it then slows down considerably toward the end. I don’t really mind this because I could only take so much action, lol! I am definitely putting this in my book recommendations
You can read and enjoy The Alpha’s Guardian by Miri Googag on GoodNovel. It is the first book of the Guardian series. I am hoping that this and her other books will soon be available on sites like Apple Books, Google Books, and Amazon.

Alpha Logan by Bryant is the first book of the Bloodmoon Pack series. Logan Kinsley is not the firstborn. In any other pack but Bloodmoon, he would not be the Alpha. At the Bloodmoon Pack, the Alpha is selected by whichever of the Alpha heirs manifests the Bloodmoon wolf. This means that despite his elder brother, John, receiving all the training, Logan ended up the Alpha.
For many years he searched far and wide for his mate, traveling to gatherings all over the country and overseas. Little did he know that he didn’t need to travel far for his mate, he just needed patience as she just wasn’t old enough yet.
I could understand Logan’s frustration and longing, especially since wolves believe in “forever” … Bloodmoon, specifically, revere the mate bond so much that they have a law against rejection unless the mate is abusive.
Logan and Aurelia’s first encounter was magical. When Jericho, Logan’s wolf, noticed Aurelia as she got off the bus I got the shivers and I eagerly turned the pages to see how quickly they will meet and how soon they will both acknowledge the mate bond. Every touch spark the bond and their first “sexual” encounter was so hot, I thought my iPad would burst into flames, lol! I put quotes because I’ve seen that many authors only count penetration as sex, so if it is cunnilingus or fellatio it’s … foreplay?
In any case, the main reason I love this story is that Aurelia is such a strong character. Despite only being 17 at the beginning of the story, I could already see what a badass Luna she was going to be and a perfect foil for Logan.
Alpha Logan by Bryant is definitely on my top shelf of book recommendations! You can read this at Goodnovel or grab your copy on Amazon available in Kindle format and paperback.

When I read the first chapter of The Alpha’s Girl by Ashley Breanne I was instantly enamored and felt compelled to read the whole story. I just thought that Olivia and Gabriel’s first meeting was the cutest thing! How was it possible that a young girl and a wolf cub were able to hear each other’s thoughts? Was it the mate bond manifesting very early? It surely was!
But this leads to people thinking she is crazy. A few years later she and her sister go and try to find proof that it wasn’t a delusion and she “stumbles” into a pack and discovers that her little wolf is now the Alpha of the pack.
Alpha Gabriel and his pack have been watching over Olivia from afar for years so they knew who she was when she showed up. Everyone knew she was his mate and, therefore, their Luna. They also knew that she is human.
Can a werewolf-human relationship work? Will Olivia survive being marked by Gabriel? Will she turn into a werewolf? Can she become Luna if she remains human?
I enjoyed every moment of reading this book. It isn’t all lollipops and roses and that is what makes this story great! Between Olivia and Gabriel, barely any drama … from outside forces, though … lots!
Try out The Alpha’s Girl by Ashley Breanne. It is available on Goodnovel and currently contains 2 books … The Alpha Girl, and its sequel, Warrior’s Woman.

Sarwah Creed, you have redeemed yourself in my eyes with A Boss With Benefits. Unlike Naughty #TeXXXt, this story is more story than sex, but what there is, is hot, hot, hot! This is a story I can truly get behind.
To Ross Hamilton, young secretaries are little more than sexual harassment cases waiting to get filed. While he is never mean to women, he also makes it known that all he is after is sex, and only sex. With his parade of secretaries, they would have the added bonus of actually knowing how to do secretarial tasks.
Olivia is his virtual assistant and he asks her to come and work at the office for the next 6 weeks as he closes an important deal. He thinks she’s a spinster with cats and discovers on her first day that she is sex on legs.
But his reaction to her is different. Yes, he wants her, but he also appreciates her mind and wants to get to know her better. Gasp! Has Ross fallen in love?
In 18 chapters we are witness to their romance and passion as it blossoms as they both don’t fight too hard to resist the attraction. My one regret is that 2 Macs had to sacrifice their lives as they expressed their lust for each other at work. I would categorize this as light reading with a helping or 3 of raw sex and a happy ending.
You can find A Boss With Benefits by Sarwah Creed on Goodnovel.

Her Forbidden Alpha is the story that started it all for me with Moonlight Muse. The title intrigued me, I was curious about exactly how “forbidden” this would be. Thankfully it is a relationship between steps that didn’t really grow up with each other so, as far as taboo goes, it was acceptable to me, if not to the people around them who see them as siblings.
As I was reading it I couldn’t help but get excited by the naughtiness of their “questionable” relationship. Constantly worrying about their parents’ reactions made the situation more intense.
In my opinion, the mate bond manifesting validated their relationship. It didn’t matter what anyone else thought because their relationship was Goddess-blessed!
And this is just the first book in the Alpha Series! You can find this story in Goodnovel and on Amazon in Kindle and paperback format.
