Her Forbidden Alpha is the story that started it all for me with Moonlight Muse. The title intrigued me, I was curious about exactly how “forbidden” this would be. Thankfully it is a relationship between steps that didn’t really grow up with each other so, as far as taboo goes, it was acceptable to me, if not to the people around them who see them as siblings.
As I was reading it I couldn’t help but get excited by the naughtiness of their “questionable” relationship. Constantly worrying about their parents’ reactions made the situation more intense.
In my opinion, the mate bond manifesting validated their relationship. It didn’t matter what anyone else thought because their relationship was Goddess-blessed!
And this is just the first book in the Alpha Series! You can find this story in Goodnovel and on Amazon in Kindle and paperback format.

After reading Alpha Gray which was passionate and tempestuous, Alpha Theo by CJ Primer changes the pace to a slow burn. I thought it was awesome that no matter how much of a player Theo used to be Brooke had him tripping over his own feet without even trying.
All the retro music references brought me back and I couldn’t help but search for them on Spotify and make an Alpha Theo playlist. I wondered why they didn’t have Bluetooth portable speakers or earbuds to use but then I suppose the wired buds did force proximity on Theo and Brooke if they wanted to listen to something together. Btw, go to Spotify for the official Brooke’s Playlist created by CJ Primer.
Even though Fallon (from Alpha Gray) is Brooke’s identical twin their personalities are as different as can be.
My thoughts on the bike? Super hot! But I get Brooke’s fear when Theo would go fast … especially since she has that problem with her wolf.
You can get a copy of Alpha Theo on Amazon or you can read it on Goodnovel.

Some stories are written so well that even before I finish the book, I already feel compelled to post a review. A Weekend with the Alpha by Glory Tina is one such book.
It starts off with a major life event for Zera and her family. I questioned her decision, at first, because in her shoes I would not have been a part of the whole thing but as a storytelling tool, it works to build up the tension.
The first time she meets Aaron seems fortuitous and somehow, I could feel the sexual tension between the two. Despite what I have read being sexy and steamy between the two, it isn’t all there is to their story. There is intelligence and genuine interest in each other. I can’t wait for the part where Aaron reveals that he is a werewolf and an Alpha!
Did I forget to mention that Zera is human? Yup, she is so far. I’m only on chapter 12 so who knows? I can’t read further until I can gather or buy more coins. 😀
So far, this story is just sooooo good that I can’t put it down. I may need to exercise some patience as I can only read so far unless I buy more coins. 🙂
Check out A Weekend with the Alpha on Goodnovel.

The first time I encountered Alpha of Nightmares by Bryant on Goodnovel I was iffy if I should read it or not. My first thought was “What kind of alpha is he if cannot control his wolf?” Was his wolf, Chesed, that strong, or was Alec that weak? Was Alec/Chesed even worth meeting?
You see, in every new book I open, the lead male character is my book boyfriend so I wasn’t sure if he had what it took to be my boyfriend. Thank goodness, I gave him a shot! The call of the mate bond was just too strong, lol!
But, seriously, my curiosity was piqued. I just had to know the story. I HAD to know the circumstances that led to Alpha Chesed instead of Alpha Alec and his wolf Chesed. In addition, I also found it intriguing how Alec and Chesed had such different personalities. They are polar opposites but come together when it has anything to do with the pack and their children.
His story and how his relationship with Crista grew was just wonderful to witness. But for me, the icing on the cake was Alpha Heir Andre and his incorrigible personality. I’m looking forward to seeing Alpha of Nightmares by Bryant on Amazon soon, but for now, you can read this on Goodnovel.

Six Like The Number by Dee Hanna is a story I read on a whim one time on GoodNovel. I wasn’t sure if I would like it or not because, to be honest, I wasn’t attracted to the cover art. I was, however, intrigued by the title.
I’m glad I took the time to read it. It is hard to categorize because Axle, the male lead is supposedly a bad boy but doesn’t really act like the stereotype. He isn’t a bully and his biggest “rebellion” would be ditching class a lot. At most, I would say he is a (pardon my French) fuckboy.
The lead female is Six who is the daughter of a drug addict and is raising her 3-year-old younger brother, Theo. Neither of them knows who their fathers are and their mother is always strung out so Six is responsible for taking care of them both. To do this Six takes on a secret, unconventional job that will later become the catalyst for conflict.
Axle and Six are high school seniors, but that is incidental to the story. It really just establishes how they meet and interact daily. They were never enemies to lovers. At best I would say strangers/classmates to friends with benefits … and their relationship happened really fast. It took several weeks for them to be officially boyfriend and girlfriend but, again … no drama.
Six’s ex enters the picture and he is supposed to be the biggest baddie but, again, this does not manifest when he is around Six.
Six Like The Number is fast-paced and, was surprisingly (for me) a real page-turner. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it several months ago and I had to re-read it now just for this review. I won’t say more! You have to read it for yourself.
If you’re looking for something to read that does not involve wolves, vampires, dragons, or any other kind of shifter … if you are looking for a story with substance, try out this book … Six Like The Number by Dee Hanna, available on Goodnovel.
