The search is over! Blackwater, the fragrance and grooming line of Ever Bilena Cosmetics, Inc., has chosen its product ambassadors, each representing the brand’s different persona.
The fresh-faced and good-looking foursome are:
- Isaiah Fermin, The Gentleman;
- Martin Villanueva, The Heartthrob;
- Darielle Visperas, The Artist; and
- Dyrham Palfrey, The Athlete.

Isaiah Fermin, The Gentleman
Gentleman Isaiah Fermin, 21, is an online entrepreneur. Currently taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina, his interest in entrepreneurship started in high school when he set up four mobile prepaid stations.
Now running a successful online store, he is looking forward to his exciting job as social media ambassador for Blackwater.

Martin Villanueva, The Heartthrob
Heartthrob Martin Villanueva has been a commercial model for almost 10 years and is very comfortable in front of the camera.
The 23-year-old campus sweetheart is a member of Runcav Movers, grand prize winner of the television show Eat Bulaga’s Trumpets Dance Challenge.

Darielle Visperas, The Athlete
Model, singer, and dancer, 17-year-old Artist Darielle Vispera fits his new role to a T. The senior high school student enjoys performing and happily welcomes any opportunity to share his talent with an audience.
A member of the La Salle Dasmarinas basketball team, he plans to take up Management Accounting in college.

Dyrham Palfrey, The Athlete
With an athletic scholarship from the National University (NU), Dryham Palfrey, 17, is the Athlete. A native of Lingayen, Pangasinan, he has been swimming since the age of six and won his first gold medal at 12 years old when he competed in Palarong Pambansa.
He is now part of the NU varsity swimming team and dreams of competing in an international swimming competition.
The four winners received cash prizes, official contracts as Blackwater’s social media ambassadors, Blackwater products, and make-over sessions at the Urban Barber.
Fermin, Villanueva, Visperas, and Palfrey are ready to show everyone what it is like to be fresh, masculine, independent and cool.

Explore your creative side, step into the new wave of glam by creating your own makeup tutorial video and get a chance to win P100,000 in this year’s “Ever Bilena’s Big Beauty Challenge”.
Now on its second year, Ever Bilena encourages vloggers, aspiring and professional makeup artists residing in the Philippines to produce a makeup video using Ever Bilena products and following the specified weekly theme.
The video must run from one to three minutes and must show participants applying makeup on themselves. NO MODELS ALLOWED!
The weekly theme will be posted every Friday on the Ever Bilena Cosmetics Facebook page. Participants have seven days to create their videos. All entries must be uploaded by Thursday 11:59 PM on the participant’s Facebook page with the hashtags #EBBigBeautyChallengeYear2 and #everbilena. Participants can submit as many videos as they wish.
One winner will be chosen every week and will receive P15,000 cash. All weekly winners will compete in the grand finals. The contest will run from December 15 until February 22, 2018. This year’s Big Beauty Challenge winner will receive P70,000 cash and P30,000 worth of Ever Bilena Products.
Criteria for judging are:
- Ever Bilena products used in the video, 20%
- creativity, 40%
- makeup executions and skills, 20%
- and most number of views and shares, 20%

Today’s young woman is outspoken, confident, and knowledgeable. She strives to make a statement in everything she does – from social media updates to the clothes she wears, and the cosmetics she uses. With this in mind, Careline has shifted to a bolder and trendier brand image.
“The youths are the main inspiration for Careline’s new brand direction. They are confident in who they are, what they want, and how they want to express themselves,” said Careline brand manager Creole David.
Combining quirky and “everyday wearable,” the new image aims to appeal to everyone. It is both simple and striking with its new boldface logo and colorful packaging. Upcoming products will match the new bold attitude.
“We offer products that are a little different from the usual drugstore make-up brands. They are Better than Basic,” explained David. “And they are very wearable!”

Some of these new products are Go! Mascara in two variants – The Go! Long Mascara to make lashes look long and wispy and the Go! Big Mascara, which has a special brush that packs on product to make lashes extra voluminous; Careline Best Brow Pencil, a retractable brow pencil and spoolie that brushes and tames the brows; and Careline Graph Ink Liner, which has a long flexible felt tip to make lining the eyes quicker.
Another product to look forward to is the Careline Multi Sticks, a multipurpose make-up collection that comes in six pieces:
- Contour Stick, a universal contour that also doubles as an eyeshadow color;
- Brighten Stick, a yellow-toned brightening concealer that can be used as an eyeshadow primer;
- Strobe Stick, a metallic highlighter for the décolletage and shoulders that also looks great as a metallic eyeshadow;
- Blur Stick, a pore-filling primer that works well alone or under foundation; and
- Rose and Peach Sticks, multi-use tints that do wonders for the eyes, cheeks and lips.
