The Effectiveness of Bodywork: How Seitai Enhances Training and Recovery for Better Health

The Effectiveness of Bodywork: How Seitai Enhances Training and Recovery for Better Health

The Effectiveness of Bodywork: How Seitai Enhances Training and Recovery for Better Health

Bodywork, particularly Seitai, can significantly improve one’s health by enhancing flexibility, releasing muscle tension, and promoting balance. It can be done before and after exercise, reducing muscle tension and weariness, and accelerating healing. This can help the body prepare for upcoming workouts and enhance the effectiveness of instruction. It is crucial to maintain relaxed, loose muscles to ensure optimal performance. KAMI’s methods offer numerous health advantages, including improved flexibility, reduced range of motion, and increased effectiveness in training. Overall, bodywork is a valuable tool for overall health.

The best way to improve one’s own health is through bodywork, both in terms of long-term attendance and relaxation. This time, we are concentrating on how the Seitai affects the connections among training, the Seitai, and muscle rubbing.Image

Exercise and self-care are two things that can have a big impact on the body. To improve flexibility and release tension in the muscles, a bodywork session can come before an exercise session. Physical therapy is used to realign the bones to their natural positions prior to exercise. The range of motion will be limited, the full effect of exercise won’t be felt, and normal movement won’t be possible if the muscles are just relaxed but the bones are not in their original positions. This raises the likelihood of being able to work out more while training. Bodywork can also improve the body’s balance by treating these. Aligning your bones might help you perform exercises with proper form and lower your risk of injury if you have postural problems, muscle imbalances, or a change in your pelvic position. Sessions of bodywork are soothing and can help release tension and stress. You might be able to train more efficiently if you approach your workout with relaxation.

Moreover, Seitai is more beneficial for health conditions when done after training. After working out, getting bodywork can help reduce tension and weariness in the muscles while accelerating healing. The body will benefit from this as it gets ready for the upcoming workout. It might also increase the effectiveness of your instruction. Seitai may help the body heal more rapidly and efficiently by releasing tension in the muscles and joints. It’s critical to maintain relaxed, loose muscles.

There are many health advantages to receiving bodywork, and KAMI’s methods won’t disappoint.

Teduh has launched a groundbreaking mental health app in Indonesia, setting a new standard in the field. This premier app focuses on accessibility and user-friendliness, revolutionizing the nation’s mental healthcare landscape. By streamlining access to vital mental health resources and services, the app aims to make seeking assistance more straightforward for Indonesians. Its standout feature is a proprietary algorithm that personalizes the user’s experience by matching them with suitable self-help courses or psychologists based on their unique needs. With a user-friendly interface accommodating all ages, Teduh ensures mental health support is readily accessible to everyone. The app’s introduction underscores Teduh’s commitment to enhancing mental well-being in Indonesia, and it is supported by visionary investors who understand the urgency of comprehensive mental health care, particularly with over 20 million Indonesians experiencing severe mental illnesses, some of which remain unreported. The genesis of Teduh, led by Christian Chonardo, a Princeton University graduate with a Master’s degree in Finance, began in 2021 during the pandemic. Christian’s vision was rooted in the understanding that the lockdowns and isolation measures had a profound effect on people’s mental well-being, prompting him to create Teduh as a lifeline for those in need.

In a resounding step forward for mental health support in Indonesia, Teduh has launched its latest app, hailed as the nation’s premier mental health application. With a strong focus on accessibility and user-friendliness, Teduh’s innovative app promises to reshape the mental healthcare landscape in the country.Image

Indonesia has grappled with long-standing mental health challenges, and Teduh’s unwavering dedication to tackling these issues has never been more apparent. This new app revolutionizes access to crucial mental health resources and services, making it simpler than ever for those in Indonesia seeking assistance.

The app’s standout feature is its exclusive algorithm, a sophisticated tool meticulously designed to match individuals with the most fitting self-help courses or psychologists, tailoring the experience to their unique needs. This personalization ensures that those in search of aid can access precisely the support that resonates with them, substantially boosting the likelihood of successful outcomes.

Navigating the app is effortless, sporting an intuitive user interface that accommodates individuals of all ages. Teduh’s steadfast commitment to user-friendliness stems from the belief that mental health support should be readily available to all, regardless of their technical expertise.

With the launch of this groundbreaking app, Teduh not only throws a lifeline to those contending with mental health challenges but also sets a new benchmark for mental healthcare in Indonesia. The intersection of cutting-edge technology, user convenience, and customized support signifies a significant leap toward bolstering mental well-being nationwide.

Teduh’s commitment to mental healthcare in Indonesia is further reinforced by the support of passionate investors who recognize the urgent demand for comprehensive mental health support in the country. With over 20 million Indonesians grappling with severe mental illnesses, and numerous cases yet unreported, Teduh’s mission resonates deeply with a substantial portion of the population. The investors backing Teduh are not solely driven by financial objectives but, more profoundly, by their desire to contribute to a brighter and healthier future for Indonesia.

The birth of Teduh, under the leadership of Christian Chonardo, underscores the profound influence of individual determination in times of crisis. Christian, a Princeton University graduate holding a Master’s degree in Finance, initiated Teduh’s journey in 2021, a period when the world was contending with the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic. His vision was rooted in the realization that lockdowns and isolation measures profoundly impacted people’s mental well-being. Fueled by a determination to provide a lifeline to those in need, Christian embarked on the path of establishing Teduh, a platform dedicated to bridging the gap in mental healthcare and supporting Indonesians through the turbulent times and beyond.

As Teduh perseveres in its advocacy for mental health, this app’s introduction stands as a testament to their unyielding resolve in providing top-tier care for those in need. Indonesians can now access the finest mental health support at their fingertips, courtesy of Teduh’s revolutionary app.

University of Indonesia and Teduh Join Forces to Revolutionize Student Mental Health

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Teduh, a mental health service provider, and the University of Indonesia have joined forces to address the pressing issue of mental health among students. Highlighting the alarming statistic of over 45,000 suicide attempts in Indonesia in 2022, Christian Chonardo, CEO of Teduh, and his co-founders left prestigious careers to tackle the mental health crisis. This partnership reflects their shared commitment to eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health and improving access and quality of mental health services for students and academics. With a mission to create a culture of mental health care, starting from specific faculties and expanding throughout the University of Indonesia, this collaboration promises to make a profound impact. It demonstrates a dedication to raising awareness and fostering mental well-being, with a vision of a world free from mental health prejudices. The Teduh team with representatives from the University of Indonesia

In an extraordinary partnership that’s capturing global attention, mental health has taken center stage. The University of Indonesia and Teduh, a leading mental health service provider, have embarked on a collaborative journey that promises to transform student mental health on a profound scale.

Startling statistics reveal that in 2022, over 45,000 suicide attempts sent shockwaves through Indonesia. This alarming figure sparked an exceptional response from Christian Chonardo, the CEO of Teduh, who left a prestigious career at McKinsey & Company to join forces with co-founders Adrianus Matthew Sukuramsyah and Nicco Parikh. Their unwavering dedication is aimed at tackling the urgent mental health crisis plaguing the nation.

Teduh and the University of Indonesia, both driven by shared core values, are resolute in their mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and elevate access to high-quality mental health services for students and academics alike. Their vision extends to a world free of prejudices associated with mental health, one that promotes fairness and inclusivity.

This partnership is not your average collaboration; it’s nothing short of a mental health revolution. Starting with the Faculty of Public Administration and the Faculty of Economics and Business, the partnership intends to permeate every nook and cranny of the University of Indonesia. Their straightforward yet robust objective is to heighten awareness, ignite candid conversations, and nurture a strong culture of mental health care among students and academics.

Adrianus Matthew Sukuramsyah, one of Teduh’s founders and a graduate in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada, has shone a light on the stark disparities in mental health awareness and access to resources during his overseas studies. In his view, the situation in Indonesia is a ticking time bomb: “In my opinion, this is an issue waiting to explode. In Indonesia, it is still overlooked despite the evident impact on young people and families. If left unaddressed, it could become a continuing crisis for the nation.”

Now, students at the University of Indonesia are on the cusp of a transformative mental health experience. The University of Indonesia is flinging open the doors to a wealth of resources, granting Teduh access to students, facilities, and faculty support. Thanks to this partnership, students will savor exclusive mental health services like never before.

Together, Teduh and the University of Indonesia are resolute in their commitment to delving deeper into the realm of mental health, dismantling every obstacle, and offering unrivaled access to mental health services for all students and academics at the University of Indonesia. It’s time to bid farewell to the stigmas and usher in a new era of mental well-being. A significant transformation is now in progress!

Teduh is a startup striving to solve Indonesia’s mental health crisis. We provide psychology resources tailored for the Indonesian audience by considering factors such as culture, religion, stigma, and ideology. These resources include online therapy and telemedicine, mindfulness meditation, self-help therapy courses, mood tracker, etc. Teduh seeks to be a one-stop solution for Southeast Asians’ mental health needs through an innovative, sustainable and customer-centric manner.

The workshop, titled “Empowering Social Enterprises to Drive Meaningful Change in ASEAN,” was held in Singapore from October 17 to 20, 2023, in conjunction with the 16th ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (ACCMSME).

During the event, three outstanding social enterprises were awarded grants totaling $30,000 to help bring their innovative social business ideas to life, contributing to the advancement of sustainable development goals in the ASEAN region.

The Regional Workshop featured an engaging program that included a Demo Day and Business Matchmaking sessions, connecting visionary social entrepreneurs with potential investors, such as venture capitalists and angel investors. The workshop also hosted insightful roundtable discussions and a networking dinner with ACCMSME delegates. This provided participants with a platform to build meaningful relationships, express their aspirations, and showcase their promising initiatives to ASEAN policymakers. The winners of the grants were Survival Skills Vietnam from Vietnam in first place, Tulibot from Indonesia in second place, and Beebag from Malaysia in third place.

“We are excited to announce the seed grant winners today, and we look forward to witnessing their growth and contribution to sustainability across the region. The Regional Workshop offers an invaluable opportunity for these social entrepreneurs to gain exposure to potential investors, actively participate in regional conversations, and network with influential policymakers across ASEAN. We are confident that all the participating social enterprises will harness the knowledge they have acquired during the program and continue to thrive,” said Dr. Piti Srisangnam, Executive Director of the ASEAN Foundation.

The ASEAN Foundation, in partnership with TikTok and SAP, has successfully launched the ASEAN SEDP 2.0 program to empower social enterprises throughout the ASEAN region. This initiative focuses on promoting productivity, technology, and innovation. It aims to enhance access to financing, improve market access and internationalization, and foster entrepreneurship and human capital development.

After a rigorous selection process involving 145 applicants, 20 exceptional social enterprises from ten ASEAN member countries have been chosen to participate in the program. The selected enterprises are as follows:

  • Brunei Darussalam: Big BWN Project
  • Cambodia: ADSA Cambodia
  • Indonesia: Komerce, PetaNetra, PT. Disabilitas Kerja Indonesia, and Tulibot
  • Lao PDR: Cofarm – Farm for Local
  • Malaysia: Beebag, Native Discovery, and PichaEats
  • Myanmar: CC Educare Myanmar, Taungthutada, and TTTD – Farmers’ Bridge
  • Philippines: Hinablon sa Cebu and Mayani
  • Singapore: Recyglo
  • Thailand: Lukthamdai, Moreloop, and PakDone
  • Vietnam: Survival Skills Vietnam and Tohe Social Enterprise
These enterprises represent a diverse range of innovative solutions aimed at addressing social issues within their communities.

The selected social enterprises benefited from 15 customized virtual training and mentoring sessions tailored to their specific needs. One of these sessions, held in September 2023, focused on TikTok Trust and Safety. It provided insights into TikTok’s safety efforts, community guidelines, and user protection measures.

Hasnita Taslim, the Founder of PT Disabilitas Kerja, stated, “I am grateful to have learned about TikTok’s Trust and Safety (T&S) strategies and measures that are in place to ensure user safety on the platform. As a TikTok user, it gives me great confidence knowing that we are well protected.”

Another workshop that TikTok conducted focused on content creation strategy, equipping social enterprises with skills and techniques to connect, grow, and mobilize their audience authentically.

“TikTok is proud to partner with the ASEAN Foundation to meaningfully empower social enterprises across Southeast Asia to advance inclusive economic growth and drive meaningful change in their communities. We believe that a collective partnership involving governments, non-profits, and private sector partners can enable the next generation of entrepreneurs to grow and thrive,” said Jerry Lewis Ong, Social Impact APAC, TikTok.

The ongoing strategic collaboration between the ASEAN Foundation and SAP aims to empower youth-led social enterprises and young talents across the ASEAN region. This program focuses on equipping them with the essential skills needed to create a future-ready workforce and encourages young social entrepreneurs to explore innovative solutions that provide inclusive economic benefits throughout the region. Recently, SAP conducted training sessions for selected social entrepreneurs under the themes “Powerful Collaborations: Enhancing Impact through Partnership” and “SAP S/4HANA for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.”

Lu Hongwei, the Regional CSR Director for East Asia, Pacific, and Greater China at SAP, stated, “We are dedicated to supporting social entrepreneurs who are ready to create significant regional and global change. Through the knowledge gained from our program, along with ongoing mentorship and access to our corporate supplier networks, we firmly believe they will achieve a profound impact.”

One of the highlighted social enterprises is Recyglo Singapore, a sustainability platform based in Singapore. They offer closed-loop waste management solutions for both businesses and individuals and operate in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar. Adhering to their motto, “Making the world a cleaner place,” their mission is to process materials in a safe and non-hazardous manner to prevent environmental harm.

The Regional Workshop was attended by several officials nominated by ACCMSME, including:

  • Mr. Tham Jierong, Assistant CEO and Head of Venture Building at raiSE, Singapore.
  • Ms. Joanne Tan, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the Capability Programmes and Planning Group at Enterprise Singapore.
  • Mr. M. Reza Guntara, Expert Planner at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs in Indonesia.

Three decades after ASEAN was established, it became evident that there was a need for enhanced shared prosperity, awareness, and interaction among its people.

In response, ASEAN leaders founded the ASEAN Foundation during the ASEAN 30th Anniversary Commemorative Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on December 15, 1997. The ASEAN Foundation, created by and for the people of ASEAN, has a vision of building a cohesive and prosperous ASEAN Community.

This first-ever initiative permits only registered distributors with a Letter of Authorization (LOA) to directly market Direct Selling products on the Lazada platform.

KUALA LUMPUR, 24 OCTOBER 2023 – Direct Selling Association Malaysia (DSAM) and Lazada, Southeast Asia’s pioneer eCommerce platform signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as part of a strategic collaboration to strengthen oversight of product sales of the Direct Selling industry on Lazada e-Commerce platform. This landmark MoU represents the inaugural partnership between 145 DSAM Member Companies and Lazada Malaysia, under the guidance and support of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN). KPDN regulates the Direct Selling Industry through the Direct Selling and Anti-Pyramid Schemes Act 1993 [Act 500] which requires members of DSAM, Direct Selling companies and its authorized distributors to have a valid approval. This first-ever initiative permits only registered distributors with a Letter of Authorization (LOA) to directly market Direct Selling products on the Lazada platform.

KPDN Senior Director of Distributive Trade & Business Sector, Dato’ Rohaizi bin Bahari, who witnessed the MoU signing said, “The Ministry is of the view that this partnership will give rise to a fair and harmonious business landscape, and increase consumer confidence in buying direct sales products through online platforms. This effort will also ensure quality and authenticity of products are maintained for a safer online ecosystem. The Ministry encourages such future collaborations which adds value to the growth of domestic trade and in contributing to the national economy in general, through direct selling industry”. Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham, DSAM Code Administrator, jointly witnessed the MoU signing event.

Recognizing the pressing challenges, the MoU will implement rigorous measures proactively to enhance and strengthen oversight of DSAM Member Companies’ product sales on Lazada Malaysia. DSAM and Lazada will join hands in an effort to ensure product quality and authenticity, contributing to a safer online ecosystem for both consumers and sellers. Official supporting documents such as a copy of the direct selling license, as well as the letter of authorization (LOA) by DSAM Member Companies need to be submitted by the sellers prior to onboarding and operating their online store on Lazada. For all existing sellers of Direct Selling products on Lazada, a LOA must be obtained.

“Through this MoU, sellers on Lazada can be authenticated as legitimate sellers of DSAM Member Companies’ products through a joint-approval process from DSAM Member Companies and Lazada. This will enable us to establish a legitimate business landscape and foster sustainable entrepreneurial growth from Malaysia’s current base of 4 million distributors nationwide,” said Zaihan Ariffin, DSAM President.

Direct Selling distributors complying with the Act 500 face challenges posed by those who sell DSAM members’ products without adhering to industry’s prescribed conditions. The situation has led to the proliferation of counterfeit products, cross border unregistered products, items with unapproved claims, unauthorized pricing issues and altered products, as well as instances of abuse and scams, all of which have had detrimental effects on both the DSAM Member Companies and their distributors. The collaboration with Lazada ensures that Direct Selling products purchased through authorized sellers with LOAs are genuine and supported by the principal Direct Selling companies.

“This partnership is all about trust and assurance. It ensures that the consumers would be able to buy quality products and authentic goods from the brands’ trusted authorized sellers on Lazada platform. With strong support and strategic collaboration with the Ministry and DSAM, Lazada strives to provide the best for our customers and sellers as we contribute towards a thriving digital economy,” said Alan Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Lazada Malaysia.

The Direct Selling industry is one of the most highly regulated industries in Malaysia with KPDN requiring all Direct Selling companies to have a valid Direct Selling License (AJL), highlighting the compliance with the Act 500, its associated regulations and the AJL guidelines. These measures are crucial in preserving the industry integrity.

The AJL guidelines also incorporate provisions for price control and various strategies aimed at fostering a correct and favorable perception of the Direct Selling industry. This is essential to combat negative stereotypes such as ‘get-rich-quick’ and pyramid schemes perpetrated by some unscrupulous individuals and companies.

Currently, Malaysia has over 400 AJL holders, all committed to upholding the highest industry standards. DSAM has been ranked Platinum status, the highest of its ranking, by the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) amongst associations in 62 countries.
