In 2016, LG Electronics brought to the Philippine market a breakthrough washing machine that redefined the concept of laundry.
The world’s first LG TWINWashTM enabled two separate loads to be washed simultaneously by combining a full-sized front loading washing machine with a mini-washer in a hideaway pedestal – saving time, space, and energy.
Further raising the bar in home appliance innovation, LG Electronics brings into the Philippine market a new TWINWashTM model that comes with LG’s user-centric and efficient dryer function. This provides consumers with the ultimate all-in-one solution as well as a washer/dryer that meets their everyday laundry needs.
The TWINWashTM main washer uses an array of advanced technologies such as TrueSteamTM and TurboWashTM to provide a powerful washing performance. The TrueSteamTM penetrates fabrics with steam to eliminate 99.9 percent of household allergens as well as wrinkles and odors all while softening and refreshing clothing. The powerful TurboWashTM minimizes washing time by using powerful jet spray and filtration to disperse concentrated detergent directly onto the clothes inside.
The TWINWashTM is also equipped with the SmartThinQ Mobile Control that allows users to easily control and monitor the appliance from anywhere using a smartphone or tablet. Using Wi-Fi connectivity, this allows you start a wash, track its progress and energy consumption, download additional wash cycles, diagnose and resolve issues by opening the Smart DiagnosisTM program.
The TWINWashTM maximizes user convenience by making it possible for users to wash two loads of laundry at once and significantly reduce washing time. With both a main washer and mini washer that can be operated independently or simultaneously, the TWINWashTM enables users to wash laundry items which require separate settings (such as colors and whites, normal and delicate items, large and small items in addition to clothing for adults and children).
With precious space and ergonomics in mind, the LG TWINWashTM is designed to fit in the space of a typical front loading washing machine so nothing is sacrificed for the added convenience. The door of the main washer is aligned with the drum’s center, positioned higher than on conventional models and tilted at an angle to make loading and unloading the main drum easier.
At the heart of the LG TWINWashTM is the revolutionary Inverter Direct Drive motor – an innovative eco-friendly technology that ensures smoother engine drum movement and provides maximum efficiency for enhanced durability to benefit you and the environment. Through the LG Inverter Direct Drive technology, washing time is optimally adjusted according to the type of clothing, and deliver up to 44% savings in electricity costs.
Behind LG Electronics’ drive for innovation is its persistent and continued commitment to sustainability as a core value. The LG TWINWashTM is undeniably an addition to LG Electronics’ line of ethical and future-proof home appliances that stand for reliability and usability, save energy, reduce ecological footprints, and consequently deliver a positive, healthier, environmental impact.
“The LG TWINWash™ is designed to not only make laundry duties quicker and more convenient at home, but also ensure that each and every garment is given the special care it deserves,” LG Philippines Home Appliance VP Wooyoung Jeon said. “The simple yet innovative concept of the TWINWashTM has propelled LG Electronics to the front of the pack in the washing machine segment, and is another leap forward in our commitment to make life good and the environment better for our Filipino consumers.”’

What a difference 5 years make! Whereas earlier this decade, we had to define what OLED technology is (Organic Light Emitting Diodes), now, OLED TV is the gold standard in viewing. It is certainly a vast improvement over LED TV in giving us more realistic experiences. Thanks to OLED’s deep blacks, we can enjoy more vibrant colors and infinite contrast than ever before! Plus, it has exceptional picture quality at wide viewing angles.
How has the TV transformed as we know it? LG first unveiled the OLED TV at the penultimate consumer fair, International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012, the OLED TV was cited as CNET’s Best of CES award for better picture quality.
Let’s look back at how LG has made our TV viewing experience better as the years have passed.
In 2013
LG launched the first OLED TV, that also benefits from the WRGB technology pixel structure resulting in life-like colors. It was a full HD TV with a clear film speaker and crystal stand. Already worlds away from the TVs of the previous millennia.
In 2014
LG’s 77-inch Ultra HD Curved OLED TV won the prized Best of Innovations at the 2014 CES Innovations Awards. It combines LG’s WRGB OLED technology and Ultra HD screen resolution for a whole new level of picture quality and viewer immersion.
In 2015
LG won the 2015 CES Innovation Awards for its 4K Ultra HD OLED TVs that had better resolution, with clear and sharp images and a large spectrum of more natural, lifelike colors on the screen. LG’s partnership with audio expert Harman/Kardon resulted in deep, rich sound.
In 2016
LG’s Ultra HD 4K OLED TVs benefit from the addition of HDR Pro for brighter, bolder and more immersive pictures. We also got screens that measured just 2.57 millimeters, called “Picture-On-Glass.” Aside from 4k HDR technology, we got the latest Dolby Vision, that makes images more crisp.
This year (2017)
LG’s flagship 77-inch “wallpaper” OLED TV, the “Picture-on-Wall” OLED —measuring just 5.8 mm — won the 2017 CES Best of Innovation Award. Even more exciting, LG OLED TVs now support more HDR formats — aside from Dolby Vision, they also support HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma). To complete the experience, LG TVs now feature Dolby Atmos, for optimal, movie-theatre surround sound.
LG TVs have treated us to better quality every year by giving us realistic and vivid images from any and every angle, as well as surround sound. We daresay, everything seems larger than life with an LG TV. No wonder it has been called Best in Class.
We’ve heard that LG’s product development team continually works to deliver better technology and quality, so we can’t wait for what they’ll come up with next. In the meantime, let’s sit back, relax and enjoy the latest from LG.

LG Electronics’ (LG) newest smartphone featuring the proprietary Full Vision display is now available in the Philippines. The LG Q6 meets the needs and expectations of discerning millennial customers worldwide.

The Q6 is the first model in LG’s new Q series of smartphones and was designed for consumers who want a mobile device that offers the technology of LG’s flagship smartphones at an exceptional price that discerning millennials can appreciate.
The Q6 shares DNA with the award-winning G6 — the first smartphone to offer LG’s FullVision display. With FullVision, LG is able to offer a large screen in a phone that can still be used comfortably with one hand, making it convenient for Filipino users.
The LG Q6 has a unique 5.5-inch FHD+ Full Vision display, which not only offers maximum space, but also allows easy multi-tasking since the screen can be divided into two perfectly square windows that are viewable either vertically or horizontally.
The front camera doesn’t just take great selfies–you can unlock your phone with a smile using its Face Recognition feature. Just simply lift your phone and smile–it automatically wakes your phone! No need to tap nor slide your finger across the screen.
The Square Camera Mode enables the merging of two images into one and the creation of square grid collages – a popular feature among social media users and fans.

The LGQ6 is chock-full of features like the Full Vision Display and 7000 series aluminum Frame
The LG Q6’s metal frame is constructed of 7000 series aluminum – a strong alloy commonly used in the aerospace and marine industries – with rounded corners to dissipate impact energy when dropped, so it is surely durable and can withstand many every day stresses.
The LG Q6 was designed with MIL-STD 810G in mind, a standard that tests and measures devices for their reaction to temperature extremes, rain, humidity, sand and dust to determine their suitability for use by the United States military.
The battery was subjected to extra harsh testing process, even more demanding than international standards. And to disperse heat most effectively, a thermal pad cooling system is incorporated in the interior, and key components are placed far from one another to minimize internal heating.
“We designed the Q series based on extensive research into what millennials want from their smartphones,” said Jun Yong Won, Vice President of LG Philippines Mobile. “The LG Q6 delivers the key features of our flagship smartphones at an exceptional price that will appeal to young consumers world over.”
