Two Sugar Daddies’ Virgin by Nicole Casey

Two Sugar Daddies’ Virgin by Nicole Casey

Most romance novels start from the POV of the female. Two Sugar Daddies’ Virgin by Nicole Casey steps out of that box and instead starts from the POV of Matt who is in a committed relationship with Leandro. Matt and Leandro are in an exclusive relationship and yet from the start the author makes it clear that they are bisexual, not gay. I would suppose that this is to allow us to accept their later relationship with a woman.

Leandro is a self-made billionaire and often travels, leaving Matt at home. He is not out of the closet so he does not feel that he could bring Matt and introduce him to other people as his boyfriend without ruining his reputation. Matt loves Leandro very much but resents being hidden away like a guilty secret.

In his guilt, and perhaps as a way to ensure Matt isn’t lonely all the time, Leandro decided that Matt should get a sugar baby.

Jourdanne is a hardworking young woman who is trying to raise enough money to go to Yale. First, the many repairs to her father’s inn inadvertently meant she wasn’t going to receive a salary for a while then her second job was razed by a fire. Since her best friend showed her an app where she could apply as a sugar baby, she saw this as her only hope of making a lot of money quickly.

Luckily, the first sugar daddy she meets on the app and chats with is Matt and they click. She reveals to him that she is a virgin. If he still wanted a physical relationship that would increase her price but if not then they would just be companions. Unplanned, things heat up between the two later and Leandro walks in on them. While nothing much happened, this was even before the contract was signed so an amendment was made and this time she ended up with TWO sugar daddies!

With a reverse harem people mostly assume that it is all about steamy sex but while there are scenes here that would make you fan yourself, it is mostly about the developing relationship between Jourdanne, Matt, and Leandro together. This is a heartwarming story with very few lows and a guaranteed HEA.

You can find Two Sugar Daddies’ Virgin by Nicole Casey on Amazon for only 0.99 or free with Kindle Unlimited. Enjoy!

Billionaire’s Fake Fiancée by Tara Brent

Billionaire’s Fake Fiancée by Tara Brent

Billionaire’s Fake Fiancée by Tara Brent is supposed to be an age gap romance but as I was reading I did not really feel the age gap. If there is a gap, it does not seem significant. Either that or Kelci is just really mature for her age. I don’t recall it being mentioned but I would probably put her at about 24. Nolan’s age was never mentioned either, only that he was in a relationship years ago and has not been in one since. If I had to guess I would probably place him in his early 30s tops.

Falling in love was not something either Kelci or Nolan planned. Trust does not come easy for Kelci … not after the disaster of her last relationship. For Nolan, it was all about work, work, work. But interest is piqued from the moment the two of them meet. Nolan was very proactive and actively “courted” her but with her mindset, Kelci couldn’t trust his intentions.

As the story progresses Nolan finds himself in a pickle when a business deal he wanted to close required him to be a family man and he got it into his head to ask Kelci to pretend to be his fiancee so that he could close the deal.

To be honest, there was no reason for them to fake anything because it is obvious from the start that their feelings for each other are real. That and the fact that when they are behind closed doors they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other, lol!

Billionaire’s Fake Fiancée by Tara Brent is an easy story to read. There isn’t a lot of drama and there is a lot of love. You can find it on Amazon for 3.99 but if you have KU then it’s free!

Grump Daddy Next Door by Ruby Emhart

Grump Daddy Next Door by Ruby Emhart

I confess that when I read the title of the book Grump Daddy Next Door by Ruby Emhart I wasn’t sure what I was going to get. Was this going to be a Daddy/Little fetish thing or was the male character an actual father? The story opens with nary a father in sight but as the story progresses it starts to become apparent.

At the beginning of the story, Kira, the female main character is trapped in a nightmare date and Max is the knight in shining armor who rescues her by pretending to be an old friend who wanted to catch up.

From the first moment their eyes met, they were instantly drawn to each. The pull was so strong that Kira didn’t think too hard about Max punching her v-card at the restaurant’s restroom. It was wild and exhilarating … too bad he had to be a jerk after.

Days pass and Kira applies for a job as an accountant and discovers that the company she is interviewing at is owned by Max! At the interview, Max can’t help but try to get a rise out of her, for his amusement. Long and short, he decides to hire her since she is the best qualified out of all the applicants … not just because the monster in his pants says so.

Working with him meant opportunities for them to have more sexual encounters and they agreed on no commitment and no labels despite some reservations. Fyi, in the story, there is no mention of Max having any tattoos so I don’t know how this yummy man ended up in the cover art.

So how did Max become a grump daddy who lived next door? Max is the guardian to his niece, Katie, whose parents are in jail for embezzling from his company. Her mom, Alexis, is about to be released from jail early and this stresses him out … this makes him grumpy to everyone, not just Kira. As for the next door part, it turns out that Kira lives in the apartment ABOVE his so … actually, he isn’t “next door” but definitely a neighbor.

Grump Daddy Next Door by Ruby Emhart is a quick read … it only took me 5 hours. The story flow is fast-paced, and unexpected scenes would make you go aha! I enjoyed it, and I think you will, too! You can find it on Amazon for just 0.99 starting Nov. 9, 2022!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Double Bossed by Rare

Double Bossed by Rare

Double Bossed by Rare is one of those books I started to read out of curiosity and later, thankfully, enjoyed. The main characters in this story are the bosses, a gay couple named Jacob and Hardin, and their assistant Faith.

Hardin was sexually abused by his mother when he was a teenager and forced to participate in sex for money. Because of this, he had a strong phobia of women and could not stand to be around them. Jacob encountered Hardin while on vacation and from the moment they met, it was magic. Jacob took him away from that life and they have been together since and established a fashion empire.

Hardin and Jacob never get female employees reporting to them directly because of Hardin’s condition yet of all the applicants to apply for the assistant position, Faith’s stood out.

There was hesitation at first to even interview her because but they gave her a chance. It was worrisome for Hardin because 1) she is female, 2) she is attractive, 3) he could see that Jacob was attracted to her, and 4) although he would not admit it, he was attracted to her, too.

Thankfully, for Faith, she turns out to be the best assistant they’ve ever had. Things start to get interesting when Faith finds herself drawn to both Jacob and Hardin. This started when Jacob would openly caress Hardin in front of her while the 3 are in a meeting. It all comes to a head when they go overseas and all stay at Jacob and Hardin’s house and their feelings for each other surface.

Classifying Double Bossed by Rare as a reverse harem does not really fit the bill since all three participants are in love with and physically attracted to each other. During their trysts, it was not uncommon for one man to be between Faith’s thighs while the other is in his ass at the same time. You’d think it would bother me, but it was well-written in a loving manner, and considering that the men are supposed to be gay, it made sense. I guess, in a way, it means they’re bi for Faith.

Seduced by the Alpha Wolf by Kaycee Kline

Seduced by the Alpha Wolf by Kaycee Kline

I don’t always understand why stories are cut up into several books but I would assume it has to do with how long the story is. But in the case of Seduced by the Alpha Wolf by Kaycee Kline, I feel that it could have just been one book. The first book is made up of 177 pages while the 2nd book (which continues the story) has 82 pages. It makes sense in that the second book is a different chapter in the lives of Marie and Adrian.

Marie is in college and was looking for a job she could do while on break. She applies for a job as a live-in companion to a reclusive billionaire and, at the first interview, was immediately hired.

Adrian is the said reclusive billionaire. Unbeknownst to Marie, he turns into a werewolf (more like a lycan, actually) every night. When his parents died he was raised by his aunt who later decided she wanted him as her lover. When he refused she cursed him so that he was a man in the day and a werewolf at night … 2 separate personalities as well.

Kaycee Kline’s werewolf is a man with wolf-like features and bigger. Think of this story as a take on Jekyll and Hyde meets Beauty and the Beast, except in the daytime, he is the prince. As the story progresses Marie falls in love with both the man and the beast and … I will let you read the rest.

One thing that bothered me about the story is that Adrian had no pack. Wolves, by nature, are social creatures so he must’ve been very lonely.

Reading both books is important if you want to complete the story but book 1 can stand on its own.

Seduced by the Alpha Wolf by Kaycee Kline books 1 and 2 are available on Amazon. Book 1 is free! And Book 2 is $2.99. Or you can get the complete set for $2.99. If you have a Kindle Unlimited account, you could read them for free with your subscription.
