Power Drilled by Stephanie Brother

Power Drilled by Stephanie Brother

Reading Power Drilled by Stephanie Brother was a surreal experience for me because it felt like I was reading my story. No, it isn’t because I’ve ever been with triplets (I wish!) but mainly because the female lead character and I have the same name. This made it easier for me to slip into her skin and be Penny as I was reading. Yes, I am embracing it!

The first scene in the book had me falling off my chair and my jaw hitting the floor in amazement. Way to grab our attention, Stephanie! And, yes, I get why her drawing of Jackson focused on a part of his anatomy she wouldn’t normally see in a man, lol!

That moment when I (I mean, Penny) meet the triplets together I think my heart was trying to pound out of my chest. My face was flushed and I was breathless just imagining hotness times three!

Thinking about that jerk, Jeff (the ex), who had the temerity to not only become my cousin’s boyfriend but to attend the wedding as her date makes my blood boil.  Good thing I have three good men who were willing to step up to the plate and be my fake boyfriend. Singular, yes. With all the work that needs to be done to meet their deadline, asking one of them to spend so much time with me at the wedding events is too much! But having 3 identical men pretending to be 1 man is perfect.

Reid, Jackson, and Hunter are just wonderful and perfect! Just like my namesake, I would not be able to choose between them. And, really, why choose at all? If reverse harems and triplet romance is your thing, then you should really check out Power Drilled by Stephanie Brother on Amazon. It’s $2.99 if you want to purchase it but with a Kindle Unlimited account, it is free!

These gentlemen made me feel so loved. Yup, still channeling the FMC.

Nanny for the Bossholes by Rebel Bloom

Nanny for the Bossholes by Rebel Bloom

As reverse harem stories go I’d have to say that Nanny for the Bossholes by Rebel Bloom is top-notch. It combines several elements that make this an interesting story: a sassy female lead character, three rich brothers who are suspicious of her motives, a grief-stricken child, and a hippie dad.

Aggie is possibly the best digital strategist in Dallas, Texas but she lost her job because the CEO of the company she worked for (who was also her boyfriend at the time) fired her when she refused to get pregnant, not because she never wanted children, but more like she wanted to focus on her career for now. She applies for a position with the competition, a company owned by the Graves brothers (Zander, Knight, and Kyrin). Thinking she is a corporate spy they turn her down … but later end up hiring her as a nanny for their newly-orphaned niece.

Aggie is not a nanny and tells them this point-blank, but they offer her a year’s salary if she will agree to be Grace’s nanny for one month and a possibility of an interview and test for the position she wants. How could she resist that offer? Later, she discovers that these men are too darned irresistible and she gives in to temptation. Despite that, she still remains sassy and talks back to her bosses.

Are they in a relationship or is it just fun and games? Whatever their status, it can’t be denied that everyone was enjoying it … and was probably getting a little more emotionally involved than they planned. I found the story titillating and I definitely loved her sass. Throw in her dad, Mark, and the rest of her kookie family and you get a 3D view of who Aggie really is. How could Zander, Knight, and Kyrin resist that?

This was fun to read. I have yet to be disappointed by anything Rebel Bloom has written. If you would like to check out Nanny for the Bossholes by Rebel Bloom on Amazon it can be purchased for $2.99 but is free with Kindle Unlimited.

Wolf Cursed by DN Leo

Wolf Cursed by DN Leo

I picked up Wolf Cursed by DN Leo because I am a big fan of shows detective shows and the preview of this book was promising. I’m glad I took the leap because this is really interesting story. It has so many elements that drew me in … unsolved murder, a curse that needs to be broken, unusual magic, and a reluctant romance.

Ivy is a psychic. Her family owns a security agency that has been around for centuries. When one of their clients gets killed by dark magic the family business faces financial ruin. Killian is a werewolf and the Alpha of his pack. He seeks out Ivy’s help to protect him against a curse.

Both of them have secrets they don’t want anyone else to know but working closely together makes them impossible to keep hidden. This story is rife with danger, intrigue, mystery, and yes … a brewing romance and steamy sex is thrown in to add spice. I quite enjoyed this story that, again, I lost sleep reading, lol!

Wolf Cursed by DN Leo can be found on Amazon for $0.99 and you can read it for free if you have a Kindle Unlimited account. I absolutely recommend that you read this book!

Cloud 9 by Stephanie Brother

Cloud 9 by Stephanie Brother

I eagerly awaited the release of Cloud 9 by Stephanie Brother and when it finally did happen I dropped whatever else I was reading and basically inhaled this story, lol! I knew good things were coming Dawn’s way when we met her in Inked 8 and I was super glad to see it finally happen.

From the moment she got YOLO tattooed over her ass I just HAD to find out the story. What is behind her carefree attitude? What secrets hide behind her smile? All gets revealed in Cloud 9.

Cloud 9 is three things … the name of the bar managed by 9 friends, the 9 aforementioned amazing men (Lachlan, Logan, Thomas, Cooper, Bradley, Bryce, Mitchell, Jared, and Joshua) and the heights of passion these men bring Dawn to everytime she is intimate with any one, two, or all of them.

Dawn gets an international smorgasbord when she decides to hook up with Cloud 9 … a Scot, Londoners, Texans, and Aussies. The only continents not represented are Asia and Africa. 😀 But this story is not just about all the sex Dawn is having. Besides personal challenges there are also relationship and business challenges for Dawn and her men to face.

As I read the one question stuck in my head was … what the hell is wrong with DAWN?!? The way she was avoiding her dad and how she determinedly pastes as smile on her face tells me there is something there. Thank God for friends like Kyla and men like Cloud 9.

If you want to read this wonderful story, Cloud 9 by Stephanie Brother is available on Amazon for $2.99 or free with Kindle Unlimited. Don’t forget to read the bonus content on stephaniebrotherbooks.com.

The Fae’s Gamble by Ferrell Dawson

The Fae’s Gamble by Ferrell Dawson

The Fae’s Gamble by Ferrell Dawson combines three things I love … mythology/supernatural tales, pop culture references, and fated mates! Growing up I have always been fascinated by stories about the supernatural. I would read any story that spoke of gods and goddesses, different types of fae, characters from different folklore, etc.

I started to read this book because it tells the story of what supposedly happened to the magic and magical creatures of Scotland. Many of the names of their magical creatures I can’t even pronounce without looking them up first, lol! Our female lead went to Scotland for her doctorate degree, not knowing that a) she has witch blood and b) she was invited to complete her degree there because she is a direct descendant of the witch that bound the magic and could possibly break the curse.

Dr. Calum Welsh is a fae prince. For centuries he has been researching ways to break the curse. In doing so he established the Office of Highland Magic where faculties members are actually different magical creatures in disguise. He invited Fern to Scotland to join his faculty and earn her degree knowing of her lineage but not realizing that she is his mate.

Both of them try hard to resist the pull of the bond. Together with a wulver and a baobhan sith our hapless mates travel and desperately seek ways to help Fern break the curse.

The Fae’s Gamble by Ferrell Dawson is a romance, sure. But the adventure/fantasy aspect is so much more interesting! It is definitely worth the $3.99 on Amazon. If you have a Kindle Unlimited account, though, it’s free.

FYI, pop culture references made include Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, to name but a few.
