A while back I posted a review of The Frazzled Cook. This was when I first ate there in May during their soft opening. Since then I was invited to attend their grand opening on August 10, 2015 with my daughter, Erika. Read her take on the grand opening of The Frazzled Cook here.
If you’ve never been to The Frazzled Cook you will love the facade and the interior.
We were given good seats at the “friends and family” area. At the right was the view from our table. Since this was the grand opening of a restaurant we knew that we were going to be served EXCELLENT food and that is exactly what they did.
The set menu for the event:
- squash soup
- herbed chicken salad (my favorite!)
- truffle pasta (my favorite!)
- seafood paella topped with salmon with mango salsa
- barbeque short ribs and mashed potato
- crepe cake
- and homemade iced tea
We were given sample sizes of all of the above, except the iced tea which, of course, was bottomless. 🙂
Just before dinner was excellent! Everything was good but as before I LOVED the herbed chicken and the truffle pasta. They continue to be my favorite dishes at the Frazzled Cook to this day. 😀 It was difficult but we managed to eat almost everything. 🙂
As we ate we were serenaded by the singer and keyboard player they hired for the night. They set the mood perfectly for a relaxing dinner with family and friends.
Partway through the evening one of the owners, Jerinah, who happens to be a friend of my daughter, noticed that we were already there so she joined us at the table for a chat.
The evening ended with stuffed bellies and happy dispositions and a conviction to come back with family and friends. If I had to rate The Frazzled Cook I would most certainly give it five stars.
Come to The Frazzled Cook and enjoy their wonderful dishes? Curious about how they look as a full serving? Below are some official photos to whet your appetite. Yum!
