… and many more …
Who would have thought the number 33 would be so significant?
I knew I had gained weight. As a matter of fact, most of it was added on over Christmas. I remember, before leaving for Boracay last November my weight was 134 lbs. The next time I weighed in was in January, right after the holidays, and I added 20 lbs to that! Now, more than 3 months later, and I am still carrying that weight.
I try to run as often as I can, but it just isn’t enough!
You may be wondering where I even got the notion that I should lose 33 lbs. I went back to the gym for the first time in years last Saturday (April 9). Part of what I had to do was have preliminary check up and weigh in. The scale they use there is the one that also measures your BMI and BFI and (according to the readout) my ideal weight for my height and age is around 121 lbs.
The way I see it, if I go back to my old regimen and stick to it, I should be able to hit that goal in 4 months, losing 2 lbs. a week. It is not going to be easy. And it will also mean some time management juggling again on my part. I hope that I will be strong-willed enough to keep on doing it. *fingers crossed*
